I have pretty healthy hair and have done this before but was told to wait 3 weeks.

Yeah you have to wait because if the chemicals mix and react, the coloring could go really wrong

I do my own hair and i always buy the combination dye and highlights so i do it the same night. I like Garnier it doesn't itch my head so much.

I usually do my highlights the same night. I wonder why someone told you to wait, if your hair is healthy?

BTW, you just dyed your hair, not died it. Died means passed away. Dyed means added coloring.

i would at least wait two days. AT LEAST. it does not matter how healthy your hair is bleach is gonna have the same effect no matter whos hair. i wouldnt dye it after the highlights for at least 2 months and be careful how you do your highlights i got a pull through cap once and it turned out really trashy looking. my advice, i would go to a salon and get it done maybe more expensive but it will be done right and will be less harmful for your hair.

NOT REALLY,, YOU CAN HAVE HIGHLIGHTS,, AND SOONER THE BETTER,,,CUZ YOU MIGHT HAVE ROOTS IN 3 WEEKS,, AND HIGHLIGHT MIGHT COME OUT DIFFERENT ON THE ROOTS SINCE YOU COLOR THEM

yes you can, i did it to my clients when i was in germany and had no access to my usual state side products, i used box dye and i did it back to back, with in 30 min. leave it on about 15 min longer then it says since it will have to pull through the color you just put on, it will look fine, but keep in mind, judge your new dyed color not natural, if you take it off to early it will be more orange then blonde. good luck

Yeah I mean you could do it tonight if you can't stand it,It's just those at home box kits have more amonia levels are crazy.So if you don't care too much if your hair is over processed.........then go for it!!!! also if you do decide to do this tonight make sur your doing a intense reconstructing once a week . make sure to leve it in as long as possible. (I even sleep in mine,and my hair feels amazing.
