I am African American and had brown hair but just colored it light brown with golden highlights.?

The color is nice but I don't like it on me. I don't want to strip my hair because I'm afraid it might fall out. How long should I wait before dying it back to my natural color?

You need to wait a month. White people say two weeks ,well we know your hair is dryer and prone to damage alot easier. So if you want to do it like now then I,d say two weeks at the least but a good hair dresser would make you wait four weeks.

This is the truth to be on the safe side 6-8 weeks

Go to a hair supply store and find the right product - most people it is no closer than a month per harsh treatments (dying, perming, etc.). Sometimes you can simply add a rinse and get rid of the color you don't like without harming your hair. I would ask the clerk or a hair dresser to know for sure.

Just get a dye with no peroxide... since ur going darker you dont need peroxide because its putting color in instead of taking it out use a deep conditioner though

2 weeks at minimum. during this waiting period you need to use intensive conditioners to help strenghten the cuticle.
