a lighter brown than your hair already is. As for a conditioner try Redken extreme conditioner. By hair was bleached out and felt like straw, I used this and it felt better. I washed my hair regularly with shampoo and then put the conditioner in my hair for 20 minutes and then washed it out. Good luck.
