If i am dying my hair and putting a dark brown and light blonde highlights...?

can i use foil to seperate each color.. (having the foil over each colored part) or should i do the blonde highlights in foil and then dye the rest dark and let it sit?

i heard that dark wont come out if foil is used..

WHATS THE TRUTH??

Blond highlights do not go with dark brown hair unless you want to have orange streaks give yourself lowlights or go all blond.

Well if you are going to do that then it is best to just seperate each color with foil.

Because if you dye your hair then put in highlights afterwards then it will not take good and mess up.

You might want to use a good conditioner too just so your hair won't dry out

A lot depends on your natural hair color! If it is dark brown to start, you will get orange streaks. But if you are going to do it, do the blonde in foil, making sure the dark doesn't get on it. If you haven't done this before, it's best to go and let a professional do it to avoid any disasters.
